Commuter Rail

Connectivity

Area transportation improvements are the key catalyst to the economic revitalization the City is experiencing. The SunRail  commuter rail transit project will span 61 miles along existing rail tracks with our closest stop near the intersection of State Road 436 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard.

Phase I service should begin in 2014 which will run from DeBary all the way to Sand Lake Road, or about 31 miles. During the morning and evening weekday rush hours, no need to sit in traffic. SunRail will run every 30 minutes between 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Off peak trains will run every two hours with the last one pulling out at 9:15 p.m. Job growth at its best from construction to completion.

We look forward to the addition of SunRail bringing increased connectivity to and from our City.
